Private Medical Clinics

If you get sick on your trip you can seek medical assistance from private clinics. Many have modern equipment and prices tend to be lower compared with the US. Government medical facilities, particularly outside of large cities, do not meet Western standards.

Some clinics have English speaking staff (or will provide a translator) and accept insurance. Call to inquire.
