Time and Public Holidays

What's the time in Ukraine?

Ukraine is in the Eastern European Standard Time Zone (GMT+2).

Daylight Saving Time starts in Ukraine on March 28, 2021 (clocks spring forward 1 hour) and ends on October 31, 2021 (clocks fall back 1 hour).

For most of the year Ukraine is 7 hours ahead of New York.

The exception is the two weeks during the year between which the clocks are changed in the US and Ukraine. Ukraine is only 6 hours ahead of New York on March 14 - 28 and October 31 - November 7, 2021.

Standard office hours in Ukraine are 9 am - 6 pm.

Most stores are open every day, including weekends and holidays, from 9 / 10 am - 9 / 10 pm.

Stores will usually close a few hours early on December 31 (New Year's Eve) and January 6 (Orthodox Christmas Eve) and open a few hours later on January 1 (New Years Day) and January 7 (Orthodox Christmas Day).
